Pre Rona, there was an amazing museum and art space operating by the name of MONA. Yes Tassy's very own Museum of Old and New Art was where the scene was set for Nat and Rim's insanely cool wedding celebration.
And I ain't gonna lie, this venue was definitely on the bucket list for this little old destination celebrant. Such a unique wedding venue which certainly didn't disappoint and a rip snorter of a marriage ceremony to kick it off.
This shin dig had it all. Two absolute smoking hot babes starring as Bride and Groomy, a private boat to take guests across to the island at 1pm with shandy in hand, an incredible underground reception with 180 degree water views, a rocking band, costume changes, free dance floor slippers, the haka and of course, an epic ceremony delivered by yours truly.
Some of the feedback I got initially from Nat was that from the very moment she walked down that aisle, she was blown away. She was greeted by all her peeps who were clapping and cheering (and sobbing) with joy as she cruised towards her man.
For me as a celebrant, this. is. key.
Warming the crowd, giving them permission to get pumped, emotional and excited and setting this energy up at the start is a deal breaker.
I have everything crossed that this incredible artistic space will be open for business once again very soon... but in the mean time, we can swoon over this super stylish, unforgettable celebration of love.
